Recently, XCMG delivered several sets of GR5505 graders mounted with Techking 29.5R29 ETD2 tires to an iron mine owned by Rio Tinto in Australia. As the biggest motor grader in the world, XCMG GR5505 has a reinforced framework, higher weight, and bigger horsepower. To meet the requirements of local working conditions and fully release the performance of these wild steel beasts, Techking re-designed its conventional ETD2 tires for Rio Tinto.

Rio Tinto, XCMG and Techking's strategic partnership of co-designing tires can date back to 2020. In Sept. 2020, with TECHKING 17.5R25 MATE E3/L3 tires as standard tires, XCMG delivered the new batch of GR2605 graders to Rio Tinto. XCMG held a grand ceremony in its intelligent grader manufacturing base to celebrate. About three weeks after the successful delivery of the XCMG GR2605 grader to Rio Tinto, TECHKING ETD2S were appointed as standard tires by Rio Tinto once again and mounted on the XCMG XC9 series high-end wheel loaders XCMG customized for this renowned industry giant. After two years of service, both MATE E3/L3 and ETD2S received high recognition from our end users.

Besides regular deliveries, XCMG and Techking also work closely to explore the Australian market together. In Apr. 2022, XCMG attended the National Diesel Dirt and Turf Expo (DDT) in Sydney, Australia and showcased over thirty types of cutting-edge machinery. During the exhibition, the GR2605 mining grader and GR5505 large mining grader mounted with Techking tires attracted crowds of visitors and became a big hit there.

As we all know, Australia is one of the biggest high-end markets globally for civil engineering machinery. It requires higher performance, more safety, greater operating comfort, reliability, and maintenance convenience for the machinery as well as the spare parts. Therefore, to deeply understand this market and instantly respond to our end users' demands, Techking opened its Australian subsidiary in February 2019. The launch of this subsidiary greatly enhanced Techking's presence in the past three years. Now, our sales force and service team can cover all major Australian cities and key mining areas.

With dedicated local team members and the trust of end users, we believe that we can continuously create value for our customers and embrace a brighter future together in Australia!
