Since the foundation of the local team in the DRC in 2022, Techking has been serving more and more African distributors and bringing more value to the local end-users. One of the local copper and cobalt mines has fifteen XCMG XDR90TA dump trucks for material transportation. As we all know, the tire cost is notable among all the operation costs, and more importantly, it seriously affects the mines' production efficiency.

To provide the right tire solution to this mine, the Techking sales engineer visited it and checked the working conditions of the dump trucks comprehensively. The one-way distance is about 5km with few slopes. The roads have few rocks. The speed limit is set at 40km/h for unladen trucks while 30km/h for laden trucks. The long distance and relatively high speed may cause excessive heat accumulation that leads to separations at last. The customer also told us that tires from another famous Chinese brand got demounted due to early failures after using them for just one month.

Based on the above information, we introduced 16.00R25 ET919 tires to this customer. On Jun. 6th, at the start of the trial, ten pieces of 16.00R25 ET919 tires were mounted on one XCMG XDR90TA dump truck.

Techking 16.00R25 ET919 has the following characteristics

+30% Longer Service Life

· Diamond holes on shoulders will effectively improve heat dissipation and increase tire life for long one-way distance applications.

Chunking & Separation Resistance Performance

· High-quality imported carbon black for lower heat generation

· Reinforced shoulder design & Horizontal pattern design will effectively avoid shoulder chunking

Taking advantage of our localization strategy, the DRC team can visit the job site and follow our tires' performance in time. We have confidence in ET919 and hope its good performance can deliver more value to our customers and support the later trials of our new tires for mining dump trucks in the DRC.
